High Key photos take manipulation while snapping the photo, and less is done when working on it after. The first photo I looked out the window and saw my cat. It was fairly bright and I knew i could work with the lighting to create a high key photo. I adjusted my aperture and exposure time for an even lighting and then went up two stops to blow out the background. The second photo I set up the two figures on my kitchen table in a patch of sunlight to create the lighter look.
